The Culinary Cannabis Summit is the first of its kind for individuals pursuing a career in Culinary Cannabis, whether as chefs, mocktail specialists, or event promoters. As the demand for culinary cannabis dinners and events continues to grow across North America, navigating the regulatory landscape and public promotion remains challenging. Since 2018, Chef Travis Petersen has introduced over 30,000 people to infused dining experiences, hosting more than 1,000 cannabis dinner pop-ups in over 150 cities across seven countries, all while leveraging social media to sell tickets and connect with fellow cannabis chefs worldwide.
This summit will feature hands-on demonstrations of extraction methods, an exploration of the entourage effect, and innovative cannabis mocktail pairings. Attendees will learn effective strategies for marketing cannabis dinners on social media, discover potential sponsorship opportunities, and gain insights on collaborating with brands and dispensaries. Additionally, the summit will address essential safety procedures, therapeutic benefits for sports recovery, and the requirements for establishing a successful pop-up space as a cannabis chef.
Upon registration, participants will also be enrolled in the American Culinary Federation's online certification course, "Culinary Cannabis and Edibles." This comprehensive 30+ hour course delves into the technical aspects of being a cannabis chef and provides a certificate from the ACF upon completion.
