Chef Travis Petersen founded The Nomad Cook in 2016 with a simple proposition: that culinary cannabis deserved the same rigor, craft, and credibility as any serious discipline in professional cooking.

What followed was a decade no culinary school had a playbook for. Over 200 cities. Night after night of pop-up cannabis dinners, touring like a musician, building an audience and a track record simultaneously. No chef had done it at that scale. No one had served more people their first cannabis dinner.

Travis isn't the subject of the story. He's the proof of concept. The proof that a chef can dedicate a decade to this craft, tour 200+ cities, and emerge with the kind of depth no culinary school curriculum has ever offered.

Now his mission is to give that foundation to the next generation. The curriculum. The summit. The community. The standards. All of it — because the movement needs an infrastructure.
